Bee Fest – 2022

Bee Fest, the Belle Isle Nature Center’s annual celebration of the pollinators who call southeast Michigan home, is returning from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20. Hosted on National Honey Bee Day, Bee Fest focuses on the important role bees play in our ecosystem and teaches guests how to care for these six-legged pollinators through fun activities and educational displays.
This outdoor event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

See the bees like never before! While celebrating Bee Fest at the Belle Isle Nature Center, explore Overlooked, an outdoor macrophotography exhibit by photographer Joseph Ferraro. This exhibit is comprised of portraits that magnify the fascinating and hidden lives of insects to larger-than-life proportions.
