The Belle Isle Nature Center buzzes with excitement the third Saturday of August with a free event in celebration of National Honey Bee Day. Bee Fest focuses on the critical role of bees in our ecosystem and features bee keeper talks, music, crafts, demonstrations on how to plant and maintain a bee-friendly garden, and a bee costume parade for children.
