Celebrate the aquatic salamander who calls the Detroit River home — the mudpuppy!

Learn all about these amazing amphibians at Mudpuppypalooza. This special event features fun and educational activities such as chats with animal care staff, mask-making, crafting model mudpuppies and mudpuppy cookie decorating. You’ll also view mudpuppies up close while learning about them and the conservation work being done to protect this species in the wild.

This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
